FRENCH TV VISITS CORONADO: “Covers History From Land, Sea and Air”

Two representatives from French TV concluded their week-long visit to Coronado Tuesday by chartering a helicopter for a rare, bird’s eye view of the Emerald Isle.

Cecile Delarue (reporter, director and editor) and Helene Gregoire (professional photographer) covered a lot of ground during their visit, taking a close look at Coronado history and what makes Coronado so special today. While here they interviewed spokespersons from the Coronado Historical Association, the Hotel del Coronado, and various members of the community.

Visibility was a bit hazy, but, as you’ll see from the attached link, the helicopter ride provided a good look at the island that inspired L. Frank Baum, and from an angle not many get to experience.
